After the NH-based jam band Percy Hill went on hiatus in early 2021, Percy Hill singer-songwriter/drummer Aaron Katz and original singer-songwriter/guitarist, Tom Powley (The Midnight Wrens), and Jon Hawes (Mike Love) re-connected and aspired to keep the band’s music alive.

The Ammonium Maze Ensemble has one goal - to honor and celebrate the entire Percy Hill music catalog with high energy live shows.

Aaron and Tom have recruited a cast of veteran musicians to bring this vision to life: Bass player Jon Hawes, guitarist Dave Brunyak, vocalist Sarah Blacker, keyboardist Chris Sink, vocalist Danielle Lovasco, and drummer Scott Kinnison. The Ammonium Maze Ensemble plans to consistently augment shows by enlisting new musicians performing on a variety of instruments.   

At this time, proof of full vaxx is mandatory in order to enter The Word Barn.
