You are invited for a very special sail aboard the gundalow Piscataqua, a historic replica of the sail barges that carried freight on our local rivers for hundreds of years. We will have live entertainment with Pat Heffernan, who will perform Irish music and traditional songs of the sea. There will also be appetizers and refreshments on board, included in the cost of the event.
There will be views of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, Whaleback Lighthouse, the Wood Island Lifesaving Station, the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and more. Author Jeremy D'Entremont will be on board to provide some historic narration.
There will also be a silent auction, featuring a unique solargraph print of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse by photographer Christian Fielder and other collectible items. Christian Fiedler will also be on board to tell people about his unique solargraph print that will be auctioned during the event.
