Steelapalooza!

Bringing the pedal steel guitar from the back-line to center stage, Steelapalooza features four of New Hampshire’s most active steel players in a night that highlights the pedal steel as a solo instrument. Dan Beller-McKenna, Bruce Derr, Bill Holbrook, and Pete Leavenworth have each played with innumerable country, Americana, bluegrass, rock, and alternative acts throughout New England including such seacoast institutions as The Seldom Playrights (Derr) and Lunch at the Dump (Leavenworth). While their normal role is to complement the singer out front, tonight these four pedal steel players will be the focus: sometimes as an instrumental soloist, sometimes sharing the spotlight with singers. To top off the evening, all four will join forces on a few tunes for a veritable torrent of twang.

Joining them will be Rick Watson (guitar), Chris Caruso (bass), Pete Lindfors (drums), and a variety of guest singers.
