Club d'Elf: The paradox and the power of the unusually named Club d’Elf become increasingly clear through repeated encounters. Unlike almost any other band, D’Elf’s personnel changes radically from show to show. Fans have their favorite configurations and players, but unlike groups where musicians’ tenures are finite, D’Elf-ians revolve in and out, reappearing in endless combinations. Beyond the cavalcade of characters, the music itself is in constant flux. Individual songs can vary dramatically from performance to performance as new alignments of players make every moment fresh. No two sets are alike. Yet the feeling and philosophy that animate D’Elf remain consistent, the product of the vision and dedication of leader Mike Rivard (aka Micro Vard) and the ongoing contributions of his talented collaborators. Devoted fans have been setting their clocks by the group’s bimonthly appearances at their home base, the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for twenty years now, and the message has traveled around the world.

SixFoxWhiskey: SixFoxWhiskey’s sound is different. They aren’t a jam band, they aren’t a rock band, a jazz band, a funk band, or a fusion band; but, they exist somewhere in the ethos of these genres. Reminiscent of Steely Dan, Vulfpeck, Umphrey’s McGee, and the Doobie Brothers, the band weaves through various themes, while demonstrating mindful and intentional songwriting. Ultimately, it’s this intent that their fans find interesting, and it’s their uniqueness that’s allowed them to grow significantly over the last 6 years.

Screaming Headless Torsos: Mad musical scientist David Fiuczynski started Screaming Headless Torsos back in 1984. The band mixed punk-rock and reggae and was fronted by an opera singer based on a model of mixing the vibes of German operatic punk singer Nina Hagen with one of the most vicious punk and reggae bands ever – the Bad Brains!

Moving forward SHT added unique percussionist Daniel Sadownick on congas and incorporated funk, house, “latin”, ska and other elements in a unique groove-sandwiching style that sets Torsos apart from other bands. Continuing the tradition of having been fronted by mind-blowing singers like Freedom Bremner and Dean Bowman, Afro-Latina rocking screamer Sophia Ramos now picks up from where we started in 1997 when she was briefly in the band, adding her searing soulful voice and otherworldly siren calls. Rounding out the band is DJ David Ginyard on bass and James “Biscuit” Rouse on drums.

Squeaky Feet: Squeaky Feet has been taking the scene by storm since they formed in late 2019. They have since shared the stage with acts such as Dopapod, Aqueous, Mungion, Marcus Rezak and have had sit-ins with Kris Myers from Umphrey’s McGee. The band’s sound blends progressive and psychedelic rock, along with funk-fusion and improvisation to create a unique and fresh sound. Expect intense angular compositions, relentless groove, triumphant solos and focused jams from Squeaky Feet.

The Chops

Through the psychedelic haze of warehouse jammage in a location dubbed "The jamspot" spawned the group The Chops. Led by Seth Gomez, the band is comprised of keys, guitar, drums and bass. The Chops harness the sound of new and mix with the sounds of old. Being compared to bands such as Cream, The Doors, The Yardbirds, and The Beach Boys. Each member writes songs and presents their own sound while melting as a whole. The Chops take inspiration from all realms of music. From Hot jazz to modern pop, The Chops make it their own. The sound is dynamic but holds true to the sounds of psychedelic pop. When all the engines are steaming, the band is able to turn a 5 minute song into a 20+ minute journey of improv. In The Chops no one member is more important than the other, this is most apparent when the band is improvising. The crowd is also a huge part of the bands experience. With a tight nit family, The Chops are able to provide an energy that is exclusive. A welcoming environment and a night of dancing is what you can expect.

The Chops are on the rise with a catalog of originals and will be playing in Boston regularly. We never shy away from sharing the stage with other musicians as well such as Banjo, Saw, Trumpet, Sax, Fiddle, Drummers, Guitarist, vocalist and more.

Seth Gomez on guitar and vocals

Magnus 'Clockson' Jonsson on organ and vocals

Kevin O'Toole on drums and vocals
