While being grounded in a degree in jazz guitar, Jim performs an eclectic range of musical styles. He draws inspiration from a wide array of musicians who run the gamut from Randy Newman to The Wood Brothers. He has the talent and skill to blend this influence into his own brand of Americana music, original yet steeped in tradition. Occasionally performing covers, the audience is sure to hear a new take on a familiar tune. Jim will be performing with long time accompanists, Nick Phaneuf, on upright bass and backup vocals and Pj Donahue, on drums. The Jim Dozet Band delivers an upbeat, harmony rich performance not to be missed.
