Gabe is fresh out of his Wire Recording session in Austin TX with his first full-length release giving fans a taste of what is to come.  August 27th release by the Vizztone record label. Of the 15 tracks on this release thirteen were penned by Gabe as he earns his way as a credible songwriter.

Anson Funderburgh, legendary guitarist (Sam Myers, Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets), guided the session as Gabe's hand picked producer.

"Just Say the Word" follows Gabe's first two releases "The Grind", and "Flying High" which featured The Nighthawks and are available on most streaming and digital services. "Just Say The Word" will be available at all shows. "Flying High" and "The Grind" are available online only at this time.

Many regional fans remember Gabe as the winner of the prestigious Gibson Guitar Award at the Blues Foundation's 2019 International Blues Challenge with his band landing in the top 8 of the event finals. Since then, Gabe has been actively touring and growing his fan base at every stop.

"Gabe is somebody who has it all. His songs move me, he has a way with words. He is an amazing singer, a great songwriter and a wonderful musician. He has an unbelievable knowledge of music, but not only that. Gabe will go places. He has the commitment and drive he needs to go far in this business.Great musicians are special; they have something different that sets them apart from the others. They are born with it, it just comes easy. Gabe Stillman is one of them."...Anson Funderburgh

Just Say The Word ... is a brilliant, auspicious debut from one who has the complete package. Gabe Stillman's future is very bright.  Jim Hynes for Music Scene Magazine.

The Gabe Stillman Band is a three-piece machine that runs at full tilt for every performance. While their sound is unmistakably rooted in the blues, the band draws from the deep well of all American roots music.

Gabe signed with Vizztone Records in April of 2021 and headed in to the studio with Anson Funderburgh producing Gabe's touring band and guests. The pandemic has given Gabe time to write a new release as well as launch a video series.

The Nighthawks backed Gabe for his second release in 2020 with Hard Stomping Blues numbers. “Gabe plays the blues with strength, personality, and a depth of both feeling and musicianship.” —Nighthawks’ founder and frontman Mark Wenner

In January 2019, Gabe and his band returned from the 35th International Blues Challenge, IBC, in Memphis TN, after landing in the final eight out of 101 starting entries. Additionally Gabe’s command of the guitar earned him serious notice with the slate of judges and earned him top honors, winning the esteemed Gibson Guitar Award. Stillman says, “Winning the Gibson award is an incredible honor, especially at this early stage of my career. It’s an electrifying feeling to have the encouragement from the Blues Foundation that I’m on the right path as a musician.”

Based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Gabe formed the band in 2015, shortly after graduating from Boston’s Berklee College of Music.

The Gabe Stillman Band has become a mainstay of the regional blues circuit with standout performances at venues large and small. In addition to sharing stages with blues royalty The Nighthawks and Chicago powerhouse Toronzo Cannon, they’ve won over crowds at the Briggs Farm Blues Fest, the Lancaster Roots & Blues Festival, the Destination Blues Festival and, to Stillman’s great satisfaction, the annual Billtown Blues Festival. Toronzo Cannon says, “Gabe Stillman has the intensity and the chops the blues should have, keep your eye on him!”

In the Summer of 2018 the band performed at the Spyglass Ridge Winery as a supporting act for legendary blues and rock'n'roll band, George Thorogood & The Destroyers.

Throughout the past year the band has toured extensively in PA, OH, MO, TN, TX and FL playing for great audiences at some of the most well-respected blues venues and festivals in the country. Plans are underway for a tour landing him in Chicago and continuing through upstate NY. Gabe is aggressively pursuing his next recording project.
