A one of a kind live performance, Slack Tide delivers a high energy show. The band’s focus is on the blending of various genres ranging from classic rock to reggae to blues. Drawing inspiration from bands like the Grateful Dead, Slack Tide also focuses on live improvisation. Performances feature on the spot jam band techniques such as solo battles and crowd requests. The band combines all of these musical ideas into a unique feel good style that is sure to get everyone on their feet in no time.

Slack Tide got its roots in Hampton Beach New Hampshire performing regularly along the seacoast and eventually relocated to Boston Massachusetts. Since, the band has performed all around the northeast including the Jersey Shore Music Festival, the Sidewalk Cafe in Manhattan, and the Thirsty Moose in Portsmouth NH. Along with performing as a four piece band, Slack Tide Acoustic delivers another side of the reggae/rock jam band. The acoustic trio has performed around New England at events including the Keene Porchfest and the Cider Hill Festival, entertaining audiences with an original style and a jam packed show.
