Funny You Should Ask is a 5-piece funk band from Durham, New Hampshire. The band originally formed in 2018 from a collection of funk-loving jazz nerds who played at the Freedom Cafe. Since then FYSA, has evolved into a band defined by their funky bass lines, dueling saxophones, and drum groove that makes you want to move.

Caroline Isasi is a saxophone player from Pfafftown, North Carolina. Caroline enjoys spending her time in the great outdoors adventuring and hiking mountains.

Connor Ellis is a saxophone player from Kennebunk, Maine. Connor is a lover of jazz, a burgeoning vinyl collector, and an avid tiramisu enthusiast.

Jeff Velez is a piano player from Derry, New Hampshire. Some of Jeff’s other hobbies are playing french horn, making YouTube videos, and writing music.

Jordan Grant is a drummer from Pelham, New Hampshire. When not performing in FYSA you can find Jordan performing in other local music groups such as the Rock Dwellers and Alligator Extinction Plan.
